A Lilac Crowned Amazon averages 13 inches from beak to tail. As with most Amazons, the body color is green, with many highlighting colors. What makes this Amazon unique is that the yellow”crown” on its head and parts of its face are purple. They also have red, and violet on their wing feathers.
