A question about breeding parrots.

Just to clarify, I’m NOT thinking of doing this, it’s a hypothetical question, besides I only have one parrot, and I am still only a novice at keeping birds.

  • Anyway, I hear that people help their parrots when they breed, lay eggs etc. I know there are differences between tame parrots and wild parrots, but I don’t see why tame parrots would have any difficulties that wild parrots don’t already deal with just fine. Why is it that owners must help to look after their young?
